Netflix now includes the entire TF1+ catalog, as well as 5 live channels from the group. However, it should be noted that advertisements will be broadcast, regardless of your Netflix subscription. In addition, TF1 content will be limited to Full HD.
In June 2025, just a year ago, TF1 and Netflix announced a historic partnership: the vast majority of the TF1 group’s content would land on the red N platform. Since June 19, it is now done.
TF1 is now available on Netflix
The entire TF1+ catalog is now integrated into Netflix. French subscribers to the streaming platform can therefore watch replays of programs such as the 8 p.m. news, Quotidien, Koh-Lanta, Star Academy, The Voice, Dancing with the Stars and Friday, Anything Goes with Arthur. In addition, Netflix integrates 5 live channelsnamely: TF1, TMC, TFX, TF1 Séries Films and LCI. TF1+ is accessible directly from the Netflix home page, in the form of a section. Furthermore, the Netflix home page will evolve over time depending on the programs offered by TF1. For example, if an important football match is broadcast on TF1, Netflix will highlight it on its home page.
Ads for everyone and Full HD content
It should be noted that advertisements will be integrated before each TF1+ program, even for Netflix Premium subscribers. In other words, no one will escape it. Furthermore, TF1 content will be limited to a definition Full HD. For the moment, 4K is not on the program, even for Netflix Premium subscribers. Note that it is Netflix which hosts TF1 content.
Linear television is coming to streaming platforms
We know that linear television has a lot of difficulty coping with streaming platforms and YouTube. Thanks to this partnership, TF1 is looking for people, particularly the youngest, who have abandoned television traditional for a while. The TF1 group will quite simply benefit from the incommensurable strike force of Netflix. For its part, the American streaming platform integrates TF1, a French audiovisual juggernaut which broadcasts major sporting competitions and which still owns strong brands, such as Koh-Lanta, the 8 p.m. news or The Voice. After the arrival of France Télévisions on Prime VideoTF1 is therefore arriving on Netflix. It is a safe bet that this trend will increase in the coming years. While linear television is not expected to disappear anytime soon, it risks being directly integrated into streaming services. France Télévisions has also just sign a partnership with YouTube to promote its programs to the 43 million French users of the platform.
