Shanghai-based game developer miHoYo is developing a new open-world title built with Unreal Engine 5 (UE5), according to a job listing on its official website. The company describes the project as offering a “cinematic narrative experience” and says it plans to integrate AI elements to make the in-game city “more vivid and engaging.”

The listing, for a “Head of Publishing Strategy – UE5 Open World” role in North America, notes that the position involves leading player testing, defining core user profiles, and overseeing growth strategy for daily active users in the region. It also involves forming and managing a U.S. publishing team to support global simultaneous release. [IThome, in Chinese]
