ZTE said the Nubia M153 smartphone featuring a technical preview version of ByteDance’s Doubao AI assistant will debut at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. The annual mobile industry trade show is set to open on March 2.

ByteDance and ZTE previously announced in December 2025 that a limited number of Nubia M153 engineering units equipped with the Doubao mobile assistant preview were made available at an official price of RMB 3,499 (about $490). The assistant is integrated at the operating system level. [IT Home, in Chinese]
