OpenAI has unveiled a new offering for companies and organizations that want to ensure they have ready access to AI products, services and workflows. The new offer is called “Guaranteed Capacity” and requires customers to assess their capacity needs themselves.
Capacity considerations
The smallest option includes less than 100 million tokens per minute (TPM), while the largest variant offers more than a billion tokens per minute.
“We are receiving increasing requests from customers for guaranteed capacity. At the same time, we expect that available capacity will remain limited for some time,” writes OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in a comment on X.
