Pony.ai and Shenzhen Xihu Group have launched the first batch of seventh-generation L4 autonomous driving vehicles (Robotaxis) in Shenzhen for application trials. As the city’s first intelligent connected vehicle pilot project, the program will operate in multiple scenarios across key areas including Nanshan, Bao’an, and Qianhai, following road-level open management regulations. Citizens can experience the driverless mobility service through the Pony.ai app or mini program, with plans to expand operations citywide in the future. [DONEWS, in Chinese]
