Samsung has confirmed that customers in the UK will receive a storage upgrade incentive when pre-ordering the Galaxy S26 series, despite ongoing speculation about potential price adjustments in some global markets.

Recent reports suggested that Samsung could reduce or remove pre-order bonuses if it chose to keep pricing steady in the face of rising component and memory costs affecting flagship devices.

However, Samsung has now stated that UK customers who pre-order any Galaxy S26 model will receive double the storage capacity at no additional charge.

Customers who select the 256GB configuration will instead receive the 512GB variant, which Samsung values at a £170 upgrade compared to standard pricing tiers.

The offer applies across all three expected Galaxy S26 models and continues Samsung’s long-running strategy of using storage upgrades rather than direct price cuts to incentivise early buyers.

Storage promotions have become increasingly common in premium smartphone launches, as manufacturers face higher component costs but seek to maintain headline retail prices.

Alongside the storage incentive, Samsung is also offering registration bonuses ahead of the Galaxy S26 launch event scheduled for February 25, 2026. Customers who register in advance will receive a £30 voucher that can be redeemed on Samsung.com when placing a Galaxy S26 pre-order.

Samsung has also confirmed that registered participants will be entered into a draw to win one of ten £500 vouchers, redeemable either online or at Samsung Experience Stores.

The company is widely expected to begin accepting pre-orders immediately following the February 25 unveiling, in line with its established release pattern for Galaxy S-series devices.

Meanwhile, recent leaks have already outlined much of the Galaxy S26 hardware direction which suggests that the upcoming launch may focus more on refinement than dramatic change.

Although Samsung has not confirmed UK pricing, speculation continues regarding potential adjustments in other regions, particularly as memory and storage costs remain volatile.

The Galaxy S26 launch event is expected to clarify final pricing, release timing and any additional market-specific promotions beyond the confirmed UK storage bonus.
