TCL wants to offer high-performance televisions that also fit naturally into your home. In any case, this is the whole objective of the new NXTVISION range, made up of the A400 Pro, A400U Premium and A400 QLED models. The A400 Pro sets the tone. With its light wooden frame and matte screen, the skylight seeks to imitate a painting hung on the wall. Once turned off, it becomes discreet. When turned on, it resumes its role as a television with a QD-Mini LED panel (or QLED on certain sizes), up to 448 dimming zones and a brightness that can reach 1,000 nits.

Televisions that want to be forgotten (when they are turned off)

TCL adds a few elements to reinforce the “deco object” aspect: an integrated art gallery with more than 80 works, as well as AI-generated creations. The installation avoids visible external boxes. The A400U Premium takes it up a notch. Here, the manufacturer highlights more precise control of light, with up to 1,344 dimming zones and a brightness that climbs to 2,500 nits in HDR. This model returns deeper blacks, more intense colors and a more readable image, even in contrasty scenes.

Finally, the A400 QLED targets a wider audience. It uses the design of the range, but with a more classic technical sheet. A way to make this style more accessible, without sacrificing everything on image quality. TCL is not stopping there. The manufacturer is also introducing a new generation of Mini LED, called SQD Mini LED Gen 8. Behind this name, several improvements: a wider color filter (+33%), better color accuracy (+69%) and more backlight zones to refine the contrast.

These developments are found in particular in the X11L, which is the most ambitious model. TCL announces up to 20,736 dimming zones and a maximum brightness of up to 10,000 nits depending on the version. The TV also covers 100% of the BT.2020 space, an important indicator for color richness. But the real novelty is elsewhere. TCL has indeed unveiled its first RGB Mini LED television with the RM9L model. The principle is different: instead of using classic LEDs, each zone combines red, green and blue LEDs. Result: much finer control of colors and shades.

This model can reach up to 9,000 nits of brightness (be careful of sunburn in front of the TV!) and cover 100% of the BT.2020 space. TCL sees this as an interesting avenue for very large screens, even if the technology is not yet completely ready.
