Risk-based approach to cloud sovereignty
Parallel to the market launch, TCS is also introducing its “Sovereignty Consulting and Delivery Framework” in Europe. The consulting model is intended to support companies in building a “minimum viable sovereign enterprise”. Workloads are categorized according to criticality and regulatory risk in order to determine the appropriate level of sovereignty.
TCS emphasizes that not all applications have the same need for protection. A differentiated, risk-based approach enables companies to specifically implement security and compliance requirements without restricting operational agility.
Expansion of the European business
TCS did not provide specific information about which partners and at which locations the SovereignSecure Cloud will be provided in Europe. The company says it has been active in Europe for more than 45 years and operates ten data centers and 21 delivery locations there.
TCS has been represented in Germany and Austria since 1991. In addition to regional delivery centers in Düsseldorf and Bonn, the IT service provider also operates a data center in Frankfurt, through which cloud services are provided for the local market.
