Chinese phone brand Vivo said it will integrate the full-powered DeepSeek into its OriginOS mobile operating system, as the company intends to make their pre-installed AI assistant capable of image generation, text creation, and Q&A. Vivo has yet to reveal the timeline or specifics of its integration with the full-powered DeepSeek, but the Vivo’s own AI model and DeepSeek are expected to support Vivo and iQOO (a sub-brand of Vivo) smartphones once fully merged this year. Chinese phone makers including Huawei, Oppo, Honor, and Meizu have already announced their adoption of DeepSeek. [Vivo Weibo, in Chinese]
