Embodied intelligence company X Square Robot announced today that it has completed one billion yuan ($140 million) A++ funding round. The round was led by top-tier investors including ByteDance, Sequoia China, and Shenzhen Capital Group, along with local government-backed platforms. Notably, this marks the first investment by Shenzhen Capital’s newly established AI fund. Founded in December 2023, X Square Robot had previously received investments from Meituan and Alibaba, making it the only domestic embodied intelligence company backed by three major Chinese internet giants.

The company focuses on self-developed general-purpose AI models and has launched the Quantum-1 and Quantum-2 robots, achieving in-house development of core components. It is gradually expanding into industrial manufacturing, logistics, and other application areas. [TechNode Reporting]
