According to CCTV Finance, sales of humanoid robots in China are expected to surpass 10,000 units in 2025, marking a 125% year-over-year increase and signaling the industry’s entry into its first year of large-scale commercial adoption. Humanoid robots are moving beyond laboratories into real-world applications, with early deployments in parcel sorting and handling, education, and agricultural operations. Some models are even taking on roles in daily life, such as robot chefs and delivery workers. With the deep integration of large AI models, humanoid robots are rapidly evolving to become more humanlike. Industry experts forecast that as application scenarios continue to expand, the market could eventually grow into a trillion-yuan industry. [CCTV Finance, in Chinese]
