Huawei said it will launch an open source project for software supporting the A2A-T (Agent-to-Agent for Telecom) protocol during MWC 2026. The company said the move is aimed at promoting adoption of telecom-grade agent communication standards across the industry.

The A2A-T protocol was previously introduced with industry partners to provide a unified interaction framework for multi-agent collaboration in telecom networks. Further details are expected to be announced at MWC 2026. [TechNode reporting]
