Strip Law, Firebreak, Baki-Dou: What’s New to Watch on Netflix the Week of Feb 20, 2026
SHARE

February is almost over, but Netflix is still delivering a bundle of new content for subscribers to stream. Every week, I sniff through the listings and spotlight the top three movies or shows to put on your watchlist. This week, we’ve got a pair of animated series, one for the violence lovers and one for the joke lovers, along with a thrilling Spanish disaster drama and more.

This Week on Netflix: PCMag’s Picks

Strip Law (Feb. 20)

Netflix’s adult animation offerings have been exceptionally solid for a while, and we expect good things from Strip Law. Created by Cullen Crawford, a former Late Show writer who has also worked on Star Trek: Lower Decks, it follows an uptight lawyer way out of his element in Las Vegas who teams up with a louche stage magician to expand his business.

Firebreak (Feb. 20)

Feeling the chill of winter? Firebreak will make you appreciate the cold and damp while you have it. This tense-looking Spanish film follows a widow who travels to her family’s cottage with some relatives. When her daughter vanishes into the deep woods without a trace, things go from bad to worse as a massive wildfire engulfs the forest. Ordered to evacuate, they defy the authorities to find the girl, only to learn that more danger lurks in the blaze.

Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai (Feb. 26)

The Baki the Grappler series is one of the greatest fighting action anime ever produced, stuffed with equal parts bone-breaking martial arts and ludicrous aura farming. The latest installment to hit Netflix amps up the ridiculousness even more, as legendary Japanese warrior Miyamoto Musashi rises from the grave to get in on the action. There’s plenty of other Baki on the streaming service if you feel the need to get caught up, but you can also just dive right in here.
