US tariff hikes affecting China, and China’s reciprocal tariff measures, could impact import costs of Apple’s iPhones. If Apple is unable to offset these costs through other means, it may pass some on to consumers. Analysts at Rosenblatt Securities predict that Apple may raise iPhone and Apple Watch prices by as much as 43%. Not all industry experts agree with the 43% increase prediction, with Neil Shah, co-founder of Counterpoint Research, suggesting a 30% increase will sufficiently offset the latest tariffs. Angelo Zino of CFRA Research argues that consumers will not accept more than a 10% rise, though he anticipates significant price adjustments for the iPhone 17 in September. [Icsmart, in Chinese]
