Apple’s official website now supports China’s national consumer subsidy program for the first time. According to the promotional page, selected products are eligible for up to RMB 2,000 ($279) in Chinese government subsidies. Consumers purchasing selected iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch models can enjoy an additional 15% off the final price, capped at RMB 500 ($70) per item, provided the product price does not exceed RMB 6,000 ($834). For eligible Mac models, the subsidy increases to 20%, with a maximum of RMB 2,000 ($279) per item. Notably, consumers in Beijing can enjoy the government subsidy offer through Apple’s official online store, while those in Shanghai can access the subsidy at Apple’s physical retail stores.
