Some habits die hard. For subscribers to a B&You mobile plan, Bouygues Telecom announces an enrichment of their offer with avantages B&You Max. They include dedicated customer service, 20 GB of Internet per month more in Europe and the French Overseas Territories for travelers, access to 5G if this was not already the case.
Bouygues Telecom highlights a automatic evolutionwithout action on the part of the B&You subscriber, nor re-engagement. However, this is not a free gift. If the first month is free, then it’s €2 per month more on the package.
There is a sense of déjà vu with this practice which requires a certain vigilance, in order to avoid an unpleasant surprise later on the bill. Such B&You Max advantages with automatic evolution had already been pushed last summer.
Canceling benefits remains simple
Up to 2 months after receipt of the e-mail, it is possible to forgo adding B&You Max in the B&You package, which has no impact on the latter and its usual price.
The termination procedure for B&You Max is done via a link provided in the email or by going directly to the Customer Area of the Bouygues Telecom account. Another possibility is to contact an advisor on 1064.
Like the previous time, a probably more acceptable approach would have been to request manual activation of the B&You Max benefits. What’s more, Bouygues Telecom is playing with nerves at the moment with its Norton 360 option.
