Hisense unveiled two flagship TVs at its autumn launch event last Friday, introducing the U7S Pro as its cinematic flagship and the E8S Pro as a gaming-focused model. Both adopt the company’s new RGB-Mini LED display technology. RGB-Mini LED display technology uses red, green, and blue mini LEDs as the backlight source, which is said to deliver purer colors, higher brightness efficiency, and a wider color gamut than traditional Mini LED technology. The U7S Pro debuts the company’s first H7 AI picture-quality chip with synchronized light and color control. It supports 3×10,240 dimming zones and 108-bit color precision. Combined with RGB-Mini LED chips, the model delivers 100% BT.2020 color gamut coverage while reducing power consumption. The E8S Pro is designed for home entertainment and gaming. It features a native 4K 170Hz refresh rate, zero-delay backlight technology, and a new Super Movie Mode. [Icsmart, in Chinese]
