Honor on Thursday announced that it will unveil the Magic8 series and MagicOS 10 on October 15. The Magic8 series, positioned as the company’s first “AI-native smartphone,” will be among the first devices powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. The lineup features a 200-megapixel ultra night telephoto camera and an AI-assisted physical side key that allows users to quickly open the camera app with a short press or activate the YOYO smart assistant with a long press. The new MagicOS 10 operating system will enable cross-brand connectivity, supporting high-speed file transfers between Honor devices, iPhones, and Windows or Mac computers.
