Installing solar panels without an electrician, without work, from your balcony: this is the promise of MOVA with its new LumeGret range, expected in Europe in the second quarter of 2026. Two models on the program, the A2000 and the A4000, from 1,000 euros, designed for apartments as well as for individual houses.
The principle of LumeGret is based on an all-in-one architecture which integrates a hybrid microinverter, storage battery like at Zendure and charge controller in a single box. Simply plug it into a standard outlet to start consuming its own electricity. MOVA announces an installation that can be done in 30 minutes from a balcony, without work or intervention by a professional. A positioning that directly targets tenants and co-owners who have until now been excluded from the solar market.
A2000 and A4000: two models depending on your needs
The range is available in two models. The LumeGret A2000 is aimed at small spaces with a scalable capacity of 1.92 to 9.6 kWh and a bidirectional power output of 1,500 W. It features a four-level safety system with aerosol extinguishing in the event of overheating. The LumeGret A4000 targets larger installations like the Anker SOLIX Solarbank MAX AC: basic capacity of 4 kWh expandable to 20 kWh, photovoltaic input up to 3,600 W and output of 2,800 W. MOVA announces a lifespan of 20 years for this model, or more than 10,000 charging cycles, with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty and a Advanced BMS protection.
An AI that manages energy flows automatically
Both models are driven by LumeGret Orbit, MOVA’s AI system integrated into the MOVAhome app. It autonomously manages energy flows: forecasting solar production according to the weather, optimizing consumption in real time, and price arbitrage with more than 860 European energy suppliers to recharge batteries at the cheapest times. FluxCharge technology extends this intelligence to electric vehicle charging, dynamically adapting power (up to 2.5 kW) to available solar production. In four hours under optimal sunlight, it can recharge an electric vehicle with an additional range of 40 to 55 km.

What return on investment?
MOVA estimates the return on investment between 2 and 3 years, with savings of up to 1,500 euros per year depending on consumption habits and local prices. These figures are provided by the manufacturer and may vary depending on actual conditions of use. A recent study based on 230,000 German households shows that the profitability of balcony solar kits strongly depends on the presence of a battery and local electricity prices.
