TL;DR

  • A new set of Pixel 11 Pro XL CAD renders gives us maybe our best look yet at how this phone is taking shape.
  • The release follows similar imagery sets for both the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro.
  • Like those other models, the Pixel 11 Pro XL could introduce a new camera bar design.

With April now here, this summer’s upcoming smartphone launces feel closer than ever, and we’re already thinking about which models we’re going to be obsessing over the most. Easily one of the biggest highlights each year is Google’s latest crop of Pixel handsets, and if the company sticks with recent tradition, it’s likely we’ll be seeing those debut this August. So far this week, we’ve been getting an early peek at what to expect, first through the publication of some Pixel 11 CAD renders, followed by a set showing off the Pixel 11 Pro. Today we’re following this path to its next logical destination, with the release of some lovely new Pixel 11 Pro XL renders.

Right on schedule, Android Headlines is back with its Pixel 11 Pro XL renders. Like the rest we’ve seen, these are what we call “CAD renders.” Instead of the sort of professional, official renders of a device the manufacturer might produce for its marketing materials, the actual images here are third-party, but have been produced based on detailed measurements of phone hardware. If all that data is good, the CAD renders should be quite accurate in terms of shape and size, although specific details and styling often involve guesswork.

Once again, the biggest external change we’re seeing is this new monochromatic look for the phone’s camera bar, dropping the two-tone oval. And just like we saw with the earlier Pixel 11 Pro renders, this phone also appears to be dropping its infrared thermometer.

At least, that’s definitely what’s depicted here, although we’re curious just where that info’s coming from, as these details feel like the sort of design elements that we wouldn’t necessarily expect a CAD render in specific to get right. Nonetheless, while there’s some hedging about specific colors, the source behind these renders seems reasonably confident.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL will reportedly measure 162.7 x 76.5 x 8.5mm, which, like the dimensions we just heard for the Pixel 11 Pro, is just ever-so-slightly smaller than last year’s model — but probably not enough to notice. Fittingly, Google’s expected to keep the same 6.8-inch AMOLED screen as we’ve had.

Beyond that, though, we’re not learning much new about the hardware today. A Tensor G6 chip is basically a lock, and while there’s the usual amount of uncertainty surrounding RAM and storage that everyone seems to be going through in 2026, there’s no evidence of any big shake-up here.

In all likelihood, we’re just a few more months away from the Pixel 11 series going official, with Google likely targeting another August launch.
